Jake's interest and passion for sports started at a very young age. He began playing sports such as basketball, baseball, tennis, and soccer, with an emphasis on basketball and tennis through high school. He went on to further his education at Texas Tech University and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science. Upon graduation he selected a career that enabled him to educate people on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.
With over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry in the West University/Rice Village area, his functional and up-tempo exercise regimen will help maximize your time and money, all while keeping your goals and results in mind. Jake understands that a balance of healthy living, cardiovascular exercise and strength training will help you achieve the highest levels of personal fitness.
His passion for an active and healthy lifestyle has lead him to the game of golf. Jake became interested in improving his own golf game and realized he could use that drive to elevate his client's game as well. He achieved the Titleist Performance Institute certification in 2017 and has helped clients of all ages and skill level gain a better understanding of the body's mechanics as it relates to the complex motion of the golf swing. He understands the importance of overcoming challenges and obstacles of physical health and body performance to get the most out of your golf game, thus making your time on the golf course more enjoyable whether you're a junior athlete, weekend warrior, or scratch golfer.

With an education background in Sociology/Psychology and over 20 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, Curtis is a highly skilled personal trainer and nutritionist dedicated to helping clients achieve their health goals. Specializing in mindset coaching, post-rehabilitation, mobility, weight loss, and strength training, he believes that physical fitness directly influences mental health and overall well-being.
Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, as well as holding a PN1 Nutritionist Certification and an AFAA Personal Training Certification, Curtis combines extensive knowledge with a compassionate approach to empower individuals on their fitness journeys. His holistic methodology not only focuses on physical transformation but also emphasizes the importance of mental resilience, anyone looking to improve their quality of life through fitness and nutrition.
